I’m beginning to think my life is becoming a free-time free zone. I haven’t had a chance to even look at fixing up Chummy and the other stories are languishing as well.
At this stage, I’m making no appointments or commitments for the weekend (which is still too far away for my taste) and with a bit of luck, I’ll have some peaceful writing time.
That’s the plan anyway…
At long last. Although, me being me, I’m still not convinced that it’s actually finished. It still has some continuity problems and is a bit clunky in places (but, who isn’t?). Currently, it’s only posted here. I’ll put it on this site when I remember how to do it. Sigh. There’s the weird thing you have to do with WordPress and it escapes me at the moment. Been away too long.
Maybe I’ll let it rest for a while and try and make some progress on my other languishing stories. I’d really like to get it out of the way, because I know that new idea I had the other day is going to start really bothering me if I don’t get it started as well.
So many stories. So little time.
What an awful few weeks. No time to do any of the things I’ve been wanting to do – and top of that list has been to finish off my SS story. I haven’t got anywhere with that.
The other stories that I’ve been working on have also been on hold. I’ve wanted to work on them but haven’t been able to organize some quiet time to just sit and write. I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or not that I’ve also had an idea for another story.
My strong suit seems to be starting but not finishing, sadly.
As usual a wonderful, if busy, Christmas & New Year period for me.
Apart from everything else, I participated (or tried to participate in) the VAMB Secret Santa exchange, attempting to finish a story and get it to its recipient by NYE.
Well, I guess technically I finished it, but it was really far from complete and I hope my SS recipient will allow me to finish it properly before I post it. I was really disappointed that I wasn’t able to give her a ‘total package’. When I’ve knocked some of the rough edges off it, I’ll publish it. It’s not ready yet.
