Having writing troubles? What do you do?

Well, if you’re a sane person, you don’t decide to participate in NaNoWrMo. NaNoWriMo Supporter

But, no one’s ever accused me of being sane.

I’ve been siezed with the urge to try and write 50,000 words in 30 days. Hey, Bookends is over 50,000 words. And that only took 30 months. 30 days, 30 months…it’s practically the same thing, right?

Anyway, we shall see. Lately, I’ve barely been able to get to a PC, let alone write anything on one. I have great things planned (& hoped) for next month. With a bit of luck, ‘real life’ will give me a break for around four weeks and let me wallow in wordiness.

All this has necessitated a couple of things: The first is I’ve had to start working on an outline for my “novel”. So far, I’ve got a little idea which I’m hoping to turn into a biggish idea. It also means that I’ll have to ‘rest’ my current projects. No biggie – they’re all stuck. And not just because of my non-ability to get near a computer, but more to do with my non-ability to move them along. I still have great hopes of finishing them though.
