NaNoWriMo…not so much

Seems unlikely now that I’ll have the time to NaNoWriMo this year.  I had hoped to have another try at it after last year’s disaster, but it doesn’t look like I’ll really have a chance.

I’ve even managed to come up with a plot idea, which was the thing that was most worrying to me up till recently. Oh well.

As to the other stories, I haven’t really done much work at all on them. One is very close to being finished but it’s just not gelling together right. Perhaps something will occur to me soon. I hope so, because it’s been “on the drawing board” for over a year, at least and I’m sick of it.

Not going well (of course)

I’ve started another fic. I haven’t finished any (not counting the “Slice of Life” challenge and I’m not). This one has sort of a time travel theme. Kinda.

There are now about five fics, some almost finished, that need an ending. Seriously. I just can’t come up with something appropriate for any of them.

There’s always just shooting Janeway, of course, but I’ve done that a couple of times and it’s getting old.

The look

It changed. I have no idea why. I mean, I know why, but I don’t know how (technically). It just did. I rather like it though. Although, I’m not sure what the splat things are. When I asked, I was told they’re “artistic”.

Oh. Okay.

Story-wise, I’m a bit stuck. There are now about six stories on my hard drive all in search of an ending. One keeps getting middle bits stuck in while I search for a suitable conclusion. It’s getting so grim that the “rocks fall, everyone dies” solution is starting to look attractive.

A small victory

Another finished story. Well, sort of. It’s only a little one and it finishes off the “Slice of Life” trilogy. It was also the hardest to write. It’s called “Breaking Her Fast” (yeah, I know).

No space ships, Janeway family members or any members of Voyager’s crew were harmed in this story.
