Still battling the evil powers of writer’s block but I’m slowly chipping away at a couple of stories.
I’ve rediscovered a disturbingly old unfinished one that I’ve done a bit of fiddling with and I think it may be finished for Christmas (yeah, right).
The ‘troublemaking’ one continues to irritate me but I just can’t bring myself to abandon it. I’ve tried ignoring it, but it just pokes its tongue out at me everytime I open Word.
Back (more or less) after a bit of ‘negotiation’ with my PC. I should’ve known better than to depend on it. Reformatting a PC is a pain. Sure, all the data is backed up, but what about all the logins and passwords to various sites? Nasty.
Struggling along with two stories currently. I’m hoping to have one finished within a month (thinking positively) but the other is turning into a bit of a brute. Isn’t it funny how even though you can see that something isn’t really working, you just can’t bring yourself to cut your losses and move on? I was hoping to make it humorous, but it’s just not working. Oh well…
I’ve done no writing at all in the last few weeks. So frustrating. I just haven’t had any brilliant ideas on where to go with any of the stories I’ve got currently underway (and there are about five or six of them).
Perhaps the weekend will bring more luck and some fresh ideas. Or, at least some relaxation.
Well, I seem to have painted myself into a corner with one fic and am just plain stuck with the other. So frustrating and just so me. Sadly, there doesn’t seem to be a “Milk Run” coming out of this ‘stuckness’ though.
I guess it serves me right for trying to do something a little different (for me anyway). Just not working. Maybe something will come to me. 🙂
