No work at all

I’ve done no writing at all in the last few weeks. So frustrating. I just haven’t had any brilliant ideas on where to go with any of the stories I’ve got currently underway (and there are about five or six of them).

Perhaps the weekend will bring more luck and some fresh ideas. Or, at least some relaxation.

Officially now “world’s slowest writer”

I’m doing it letter by letter. Each one hand crafted. None of your crap fonts. It’s all quality here.

Slooooowly, I’m working on two stories. They’re both around 6,000 words so far and growing with the staggering pace of a snail. On valium. But, one is almost finished. And when I say “almost”, I mean a bit closer than it was the last time I thought it was almost finished. What I really need are some synonyms for “almost”.

Or, I could just finish the stinking story. Considering it’s not even that good, it’s certainly taking long enough. And scary discovery number sixty eight, I just discovered that I started one of them over twelve months ago (and that’s not even the one closest to completion).

Working on another older story

I’m still collecting bit & pieces for the story I started after Bookends completed. I like the premise but still just can’t make it work the way I want. Hopefully, I’ll think of something.

This has meant the return to yet another story that I’ve been pottering with for (I just discovered) over eighteen months. This one at least has an endiing. It doesn’t however, have a beginning or much of a middle.

Posted Milk Run & Bookends on fanfiction.net

Finally worked up the courage to enter both stories. So far, the experience has been very positive (no flames – yay!).

It was really interesting entering the stories into the system. Were they “action/adventure” or “romance”? There was no “soppy sentimental ending” alert option. Perhaps I might suggest that to them.

I wanted to edit Milk Run (saw a typo straight away) but couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to edit it. Seems you can’t. You have to upload the document again. All too very hard, so I’m living with the typo (it’s fixed on this site).
