What happened to the time?

Oops. I got my Spring Fling kinda finished and sent to my recipient but I haven’t posted it yet because I’m doing a substantial rewrite to it. I hope Cheshire doesn’t mind but it just needs a bit more oomph.

Computer problems and internet access haven’t helped, but hopefully things are looking up, so I may get the opportunity to visit VAMB a bit more and finish my Spring Fling story properly.

Wow!

Got some very exciting news. “Eating it Too” won “VOY General Story” in the ASC Awards. I’m totally thrilled by this and I’ll be posting on ASC to thank everyone as soon as I can.  The winners were announced on 4/2, but my internet connection is spotty, so I’ve only just found out. And to think, if it hadn’t been for SLWatson’s “Slice of Life” challenge, that story and the other two in the series wouldn’t have been written. Cool.

I’ve hit the inevitable snag in my Spring Fling story. I just can’t make it “go”. I can’t remember when it’s due and I’m almost frightened to look at the email to find out. I’m hoping for a sudden burst of inspiration (and extremely good typing skills).

Spring Flinging

I’ve signed up for the Spring Fling over at VAMB. I’m hoping this will get me writing again and it will give me a wonderful excuse to go over there more and read all the wonderful stories.

That’s the plan, anyway.

What was I doing again?

I’m sure I was supposed to be doing some writing. Well, technically I have, but it’s all in notebooks and I can’t be bothered typing it all out. It’s a bit disturbing reading, really. I can’t always tell which bit is for which story. Oops.

There are a couple that are so close to completion that it’s a bit depressing. Why can’t I find an ending for them? Or, to be more accurate, we all know the ending but how can I make an at least passable attempt at a non-cliche? Tricky.
